Hemlock Hills of Fairview Michigan
This modern, three bedroom [sleeps 8] ranch home is situated in
the woods and rolling fields of of M-72 near Fairview, Michigan [ 8
miles n. e. of Mio]. The fully outfitted and comfortably furnished
home features a beautiful fieldstone natural fireplace, stereo,
satellite television, VCR, propane bar-b-que, picnic table, lawn
chairs, outside fire ring with fireside cooking utensils, volleyball,
tether ball, horseshoes, badminton, and a fantastic view
overlooking rolling hills and forest from the deck.
Hemlock Hills is situated on over 62.5 acres of rolling fields and
mixed forests of giant beeches, maples, ash, white pines, balsam
firs, tamaracks, aspen, and of course, giant hemlocks. This property
has many trails and pathways for you to relax on and enjoy the
plentiful wildlife. Deer, fox, squirrels, turkeys, grouse, rabbits,
chipmunks, raccoons, hawks, eagles and many different songbirds
call this non-hunted oasis home. Numerous bird feeding stations
through out the property keep our feathered friends happy. Food
plots, orchards and natural plantings are well maintained to attract
wildlife.
Hemlock Hills Vacation Rental Home is located only eight minutes
from the famous big waters [Trophy Waters] of the Au Sable River,
home to trophy brown, rainbow and brook trout. A major snow
mobile trailhead is located just a few minutes [accessible right from
the property by way of a short ride on the shoulder] from your door.
Hunters will find tens of thousands of acres of Federal Forest lands
on which to hunt only minutes from Hemlock Hills. Deer, bear,
grouse, turkey and small game hunting is plentiful. Cross country
ski on our long and clear trails [we have over 2 ½ miles of trails on
our property] or find miles of trails nearby in the Huron National
Forest. Spectacular sunsets are a regular dinnertime treat and the
view from the deck is breathtaking. ATV trails are also nearby in the
National Forest.
Hemlock Hills sleeps up to eight people in spacious comfort. All
utensils, linens and cooking [including electric griddles, wok,
coffee maker, etc.] and dining equipment is provided. The home is
comfortably heated by new hot water, zoned heat. The home is well
insulated and warm [Pella windows]. Stove, oven, micro-wave oven
and full sized refrigerator can make this your home away from
home. Canoe liveries and horse back riding stables are nearby.
Hemlock Hills is owned and operated by experienced fly fishers and
hunters. We can, if requested, offer free advice on where and how
to fish or hunt in the area. We can also arrange for guided fishing
[float the Au Sable or Rifle Rivers] and hunting trips in the
Northeast Michigan area [the guided trips are for additional fees, of
course].
Affordably priced at only:
$90.00 per night $500.00 per week [weekly stay is usually from
Sunday noon till Saturday noon-although we can make exceptions if
bookings permit]
50% deposit required for reservation- checks, money orders and of
course, cash accepted
